Pass Thru Gallery - Open Reception
About a month ago I visited Dallas to support one of my best friends, an extremely talented photographer, Danielle Finney of DFinney Photography for the opening of #talkaboutuncomfortablethings at Pass Thru Gallery. While there I got to meet and hangout with some awesome people like Dani's mom, Denyelle, Lakiya and Takiyah the gallery owner.

While there I got to meet and hangout with some awesome people like Dani's mom, Denyelle, Lakiya and Takiyah the gallery owner.

Takiyah, a serial entrepreneur, had this wonderful idea to have a space to feature monthly exhibits of a photographer or creative! So to kick-off the grand opening of Pass Thru Gallery she featured Dani. I was more than happy to be there to support her and to capture this grand opening with video and photography.

For awhile now Dani has battled mental illness and depression and has lately been an advocate for mental health. To read more about that check out her blog post here. The concept of the gallery was to express how she feels in dealing with mental illness and depression through photography. And I must say she had some amazing images in this gallery.

Bilbro 20th Anniversary
Today, I would love to share an anniversary session I did for my good friend Donald and his wife Lucinda!
If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, perhaps you have seen some of the work he and I have done together. He is a great photographer and an even greater friend, so when he asked me to do a photoshoot for their 20th anniversary I was so excited!

Antonio & Hope | Wedding Film | Baton Rouge, LA
This summer I was so thankful to have filmed quite a few weddings. So for the next few weeks I will be showcasing them. To start I introduce you to Antonio and Hope! This was the first wedding I've done in Baton Rouge, LA and I must say this is the most "Blinged-Out" wedding I've done as you will see in their wedding highlight film. ENJOY!

Landscapes of Biloxi | Biloxi, MS
Welcome to another blog post!!! I'm happy to tell you about something I have been planning for awhile. I've been doing alot of traveling lately, some for vacation some for work. No matter where I go tho I'm always shooting. One thing I have always been passionate about is beautiful landscapes. Now more than ever i try to take beautiful shots of the places I travel to.
With that being said I'm starting 2 new ongoing projects. The first one will be a collection of images of landscape photography from various locations that I travel to and people will be able to purchase high quality prints of various sizes of these images. This collection of images will be release soon and as mentioned will be an ongoing project. So be on the look out for that!
The second project is a video series mostly of aerial video of the places I travel. Below is the first video of this series. Last week while I was doing some filming for a client in Biloxi, MS I took some time to get some drone shots of the Biloxi coastline and of Deer Island. I hope you enjoy!

Hey!! As always its been a minute since I have blogged on here and I promise todo better about that lol. But since it has been awhile I have so much content from recent photoshoots and video shoots that I cant wait to share!
To start things off I wanted to share something special! Chestin & Candice are not only my best friends, well more like family, but they are also a couple I love shooting. I've been thankful to capture every moment of their relationship! I did a photoshoot while they were dating and later when they were engaged as you can see below. I also was honored to film their wedding, well part of it because I was in the wedding.
For our 3rd photoshoot together it was going to be something special!!!! A MATERNITY SHOOT! Needless to say I was very excited to shoot this special moment for them and it was my first maternity shoot so I was EXTRA excited!
I equally can't wait til their baby boy, Chayson, is born so I can welcome him into the world and hopefully give him his first photoshoot! I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them! Also check out some of the images from their gender reaveal toward the end of this blog post.

Landscapes of Lake Tahoe
HAPPY FRIDAY!!! First of all sorry I havent been posting here as much as I would like. I have truly been busy catching up with client projects, photo and video shoots and filming events. But with that being said I have alot of content I look forward to sharing over the next few months. And I promise todo better about blogging.
One thing I've been wanting to share is some personal projects I've been working on. One of which is a set of images from a ski trip vacation I took earlier this year. I had soooo much fun skiing, exploring, enjoying nature and having fun with friends. This trip was also an excellent opportunity to take beautiful landscape images. I hope you enjoy these images just as much as I enjoyed shooting them!
Ballet Magnificat Performance!
Let me start by saying I hope all are having a great year so far! I truly meant to blog more than this and to show you what awesome clients I have and fun projects I get to be part of. To start things off as the first blog of this year I'd like to share a snippit of an event I filmed last month and Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson, MS. This event featured many performances but one that truly kept the audience attention was the ballet performance by Ballet Magnificant. Ballet Magnificant is a local ballet school founded in 1989. Mississippi Opera's Voices Winners' Competition
Nothing like the sounds of beautiful voices, and this surely was the case for the Mississippi Opera Voices Competition! I was excited to hear and film these wonderful performances. The competition was held at Belhaven University Center for the Arts and after numerous entries the winners were narrowed down 6 winners in 2 categories. These 6 winners then performed at the Voices Winners' Performance. Unfortunately one of the singers was not well and was not able to attend. However the other 5 performed 2 selections and all 6 were interviewed. Below are the winners and also their performances!
