After months of Jarvis trying to befriend me, he finally said something that I actually thought was funny. That was the little spark that started a new beginning for us. A few months ago I had the pleasure of capturing these images of Brittany and Jarvis engagement session. When Brittney first came to me and described the look they wanted for their shoot I was so excited and immediately had the perfect locations in mind in downtown Jackson Mississippi. My goal was to make it look like I was in a bigger city than Jackson.

You meet people who you instantly connect with and you think, this could possibly be my husband/wife. Well that wasn't the case with Kametrice & Quinton. They began their love journey in 2008 while still in high school. A daily walk around the block became a love story in the making. Love licks and all night phone calls brought these two together.
For today's blog I would like to share with you a love story and an engagement session that I shot for Kametrice & Quinton at Grace Gardens in Richland, MS. Below is their love story as told by Kametrice.
You meet people who you instantly connect with and you think, this could possibly be my husband/wife. Well that wasn't the case with Kametrice & Quinton. They began their love journey in 2008 while still in high school. A daily walk around the block became a love story in the making. Love licks and all night phone calls brought these two together.
The two were constantly on and off with their relationship. But no matter the time apart, the two always found their way back to each other. A great connection was bonded. Kametrice went to college and the distance made things rocky but they maintained.
They then had their 1st child "Kinsley" while Kametrice was still in college. Her birth brought them closer than before. Juggling school, work, & a long distance relationship. Kametrice needed all support she could get to keep a level head. Quinton traveled every weekend to Starkville to help with baby duties. It took a lot of patience and time to get where they are now.
After living together within a year, Quinton proposed. Wedding plans are in effect. They are here now and inviting you to celebrate this journey with them.

Happy Wedding Wednesday! The featured wedding this week is Andre & Crystal. I had alot of fun capturing their special memories on their wedding day. They had a gorgeous outdoor wedding in the courtyard of the Old Capitol Inn in Jackson, MS and a beautifully reception in the Ballroom at Old Capitol Inn. Not to mention to the excellent entertainment of Clinton Babers Music at the reception.

Antonio & Hope | Wedding Film | Baton Rouge, LA
This summer I was so thankful to have filmed quite a few weddings. So for the next few weeks I will be showcasing them. To start I introduce you to Antonio and Hope! This was the first wedding I've done in Baton Rouge, LA and I must say this is the most "Blinged-Out" wedding I've done as you will see in their wedding highlight film. ENJOY!

Hey!! As always its been a minute since I have blogged on here and I promise todo better about that lol. But since it has been awhile I have so much content from recent photoshoots and video shoots that I cant wait to share!
To start things off I wanted to share something special! Chestin & Candice are not only my best friends, well more like family, but they are also a couple I love shooting. I've been thankful to capture every moment of their relationship! I did a photoshoot while they were dating and later when they were engaged as you can see below. I also was honored to film their wedding, well part of it because I was in the wedding.
For our 3rd photoshoot together it was going to be something special!!!! A MATERNITY SHOOT! Needless to say I was very excited to shoot this special moment for them and it was my first maternity shoot so I was EXTRA excited!
I equally can't wait til their baby boy, Chayson, is born so I can welcome him into the world and hopefully give him his first photoshoot! I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them! Also check out some of the images from their gender reaveal toward the end of this blog post.

The Perfect Introduction to a Love Story!
Several months ago one of my best friends decided to "pop the question" to his girlfriend and she said YES!! Not long after that tho he presented me with a unique challenge. He wanted to create a love story video that told how they met in a visual way but he wanted it to be very similar to a series of bible introduction videos that can be found here:
Several months ago one of my best friends decided to "pop the question" to his girlfriend and she said YES!! Not long after that tho he presented me with a unique challenge. He wanted to create a love story video that told how they met in a visual way but he wanted it to be very similar to a series of bible introduction videos that can be found here: Bible Book Introductions
Now first let me explain why this was challenging. To begin all I had to work with was pictures of them during their courtship and a vocal recording that he did using his iPhone. May I add he has an excellent voice for voiceover work!! The next part was for me to recreate the graphics and style of the video to match it as CLOSELY as possible to tell there love story. This took quite a bit of time. I can't lie at first I seemed overwhelmed with the task at hand especially having about a day to work on this because I was busy with other client project deadlines and I was about to go out of town for several days. However after almost 12hrs of visualizing, creating and editing I was able to create a special one of a kind 3.5 minute video for this special couple. Without further ado here is the video below. Basically we spent a nice Sunday afternoon shooting pictures while drinking wine in the garden at the Old Capital Inn, which is an elegant bed and breakfast hotel located in Jackson, MS. It's also a wonderful place to have a wedding and reception too! You can see some of the images from that engagement shoot at the bottom of this post.
HAPPY Tuesday!!! So today I couldn't wait to show some of the images I captured at the wedding of two of my closest friends, Micah & Tenee, a couple of weeks ago. They truly are a cute couple that compliment each other very well as you will see in these images of their special day!
