Pass Thru Gallery - Open Reception

About a month ago I visited Dallas to support one of my best friends, an extremely talented photographer, Danielle Finney of DFinney Photography for the opening of #talkaboutuncomfortablethings at Pass Thru Gallery in Dallas. While there I got to meet and hangout with some awesome people like Dani's mom, Denyelle, Lakiya and Takiyah the gallery owner.

Takiyah, a serial entrepreneur, had this wonderful idea to have a space to feature monthly exhibits of a photographer or creative! So to kick-off the grand opening of Pass Thru Gallery she featured Dani. I was more than happy to be there to support her and to capture this grand opening with video and photography.

For awhile now Dani has battled mental illness and depression and has lately been an advocate for mental health. To read more about that check out her blog post here. The concept of the gallery was to express how she feels in dealing with mental illness and depression through photography.  And I must say she had some amazing images in this gallery.

Ballet Magnificat Performance!

Let me start by saying I hope all are having a great year so far! I truly meant to blog more than this and to show you what awesome clients I have and fun projects I get to be part of. To start things off as the first blog of this year I'd like to share a snippit of an event I filmed last month and Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson, MS. This event featured many performances but one that truly kept the audience attention was the ballet performance by Ballet Magnificant. Ballet Magnificant is a local ballet school founded in 1989.
